This place is legendary. Very nice, old room with lovely booths and an area in the back. Unfortunately it can be very new Brooklyn at times. If you can go on an off night, better. Great drinks. Cheeseburger and white fish. The servers are very friendly.

Some of the best cheese curds I've had in QUITE some time + an irresistibly delectable burger + great beer + amazing service = highly recommend this place!!! My friend had the trout and loved it as well. Absolutely fantastic spot to stop by for a drink or a bite during your night out in Brooklyn Heights. Was there early Friday evening and the place was extremely lively already! Wonderful ambiance to accompany the great food and drinks.

Their burger has to be one of the best in NYC. It should be on every top 25, and most top 10s. You really tasted the aged meat. Get the double. And actually the rest of the menu is terrific

Cool retro vibe, packed with people, busy bar and restaurant. We went for the burgers after seeing them featured on some burger show. They're really good! We were lucky to get a table fairly quickly (2ppl), as most of the others waiting were larger parties. We got a drink at the bar during the brief wait. They also transferred our bar tab to the table which is a nice service that most places won't do. (They will make you close out your bar tab before being seated). Burgers were on buttered toasted buns, are doubles (unless you specify that you only want one patty), and have little American flag toothpicks in them which was fun and cute
